I woke up today feeling my spirits up and down at the same time. Up, since I had a very good dream. Down, since I woke up before the dream ended. I always savor the good stuff and dread the bad stuff.
I dream about many things. When I was just a kid, I dream of becoming a princess but instead, I became a pauper (from my perspective back then, if you’re not a princess then you’re a pauper). I dreamed of helping other people but turns out I needed to help out myself first. I dreamed of having my own prince but turns out I’m not that hopeless romantic after all (most of the time). I dreamed about having a mansion with loads of animals but instead, we live in a household that can only allow a few dogs. And I dreamed of being a veterinarian but instead I’m studying Business Administration.
I never even dreamed of studying in a school like De La Salle but I ended up in one of its schools. But I started to like it to the point that I run for the College Student Council, two times in a row and was lucky enough to land the positions I ran for. Even though I love my extracurricular activities, I always make myself remember that I go to school five or six times a day to study. In which I’d like to mention our Datamin (Data Mining) class, held every Saturday morning with Mr. Mon Duremdes to whom this blog was made.
Life has a way of diverting you from the things you originally want to something that you never thought you’d want.
ironic, isn't it? the power of the human mind. true enough though, great things and even greater people come when you least expect them to. ;)
